TETC Meeting Agendas and Minutes

The Environment Committee meets the first Tursday of every month (except July and December) at 8:15 pm in the Kinsmen Centre, Bauline Line.

Awards

Congratulations to Shirley Thorne who received a Parks and Recreation Association 30th Anniversary Award in 2002 designed to honour volunteers for their outstanding efforts and valuable contribution to local recreation and leisure services in the community.

Congratulations to Madeleine Florent who received a 2001 Provincial Environmental Award in the individual category for her work with the TETC.

Torbay: 1999 award for Best Municipality in Newfoundland for Environmental Effort

Torbay: 1997 provincial winner in the Tidy Towns competition

Torbay: National Finalist in the 1997 Communities in Bloom competition (scored 4 out of 5 blooms)

Torbay: 1997 Provincial Environmental Award administered by the Women's Institute
